Neurology Admission of Non-Traumatic Brain Hemorrhages
All patients arriving to the Emergency Department suspected of having or found to have a spontaneous intraparenchymal brain hemorrhage if possible be initially evaluated by Neurology. Neurology should decide whether or not neurosurgery needs to be consulted.
Call neurosurg first for SAH and traumatic bleeds
Call neurology for everything but SAH and trauma
